Product Question of New 26 inch 48V 1000W electric bike kit – front wheel

I'm interesting your product of New 26 inch 48V 1000W electric bike kit (Item ID #LBCK26481000FN), and having some question as below.   1. Does the kit already include regen function? 2. Is it possible to have a demonstration YouTube vedio to show me the E-ABS regen feature? 3. Do you have magnet switch instead of Item ID #LBP002BL braking lever, because my current braking lever is an All in one type (braking lever and Shimano in one)?  4. As everyone knows the transportation cost is very high, if I can arrange the rim by myself from USA, can I replace order as following to reduce some transportation cost? I want to make sure everything is the same as #LBCK26481000FN besides 26x1.95 inch rim. (The hub motor controller, LCD display, braking lever, three button switch, throttle etc...) 1. I always ride a route which include a lot of up and down hills, the longest one is a continuity down hill for 2 km.     it's a 7% downhill, if you don't use brake to reduce speed, the bike speed will be up over 45km/hr, so I always     use brake to control speed within a safety area( within 30km/hr), but after through the downhill, the rim become     very hot, it very bad situation.     That's one of many reasons that I want to put a E-BIKE with regen braking function in my Bike.       According my description as above, is your e-bike kit suitable in this case?   4. Is the attached photo new version or old?     Do you mean that if I place order with #LBCK26481000FN kit set will get new version of LCD display?     If place order with LBC481000L 48V 1000W bike motor controller will get old version of LCD display? When I downhill, if I release throttle and turn on the E-ABS by switch, but I don't push the brake lever to make mechanical brake working. will bike glide freely and very fast? is the controller charging battery at this moment? Normally when E-ABS turn on, the speed should become lower as below, is it right?   When a very long distance downhill (the same gradient), if freely glide down (without throttle, mechanical brake, E-ABS), the invariable maximum speed is 35km/hr when turn on E-ABS only, the invariable maximum speed should be lower than 35 km/hr, such as 25~30km/hr   Because it is not possible that a motor generates electricity to charge battery, and we haven't lost any bike moving momentum.

How to count speed as RPM? For example: 20 inch hub motor,max speed:731RPM
* ONE cycle= 3.14 × 20inch × 2.54( 1 inch = 2.54 cm) = 159.5cm ÷ 100 = 1.6 m( 100 cm=1 m )
* 1.6 m × 730RPM = 1168 m ( ONE minute )
* 1168 × 60 = 70080 m =70 km ( 1000m = 70 km)
* 70 ÷ 1.667 = 42 mph

a little problem with hub motor kit rim

I received bike conversion kit with new version LCD motor controller, hub motor wheel and bike parts ..everything but the lithium battery , started to mount a tire on the hub motor wheel rim and I think there might be a little problem with it the hole for the tube is in between where the spokes cross, making it almost impossible to get the inflation valve on the stem. I might be able to drill another hole on the other side between where the spokes go apart so it will work, haven’t looked into that yet the hole for the valve stem should be where the spokes are going away from it, so the valve can be fitted on easily. I have a few tools and a reamer so I probably can make it work. I was going to put one of these airless no-flat tubes in, its solid foam, but I think nice you get it on that’s it, you have to cut the tire to remove it after the tire wears out
I got a regular tube on and inflated it, but once it inflated the stem pulled so far down into the rim I get the valve back on it now.
I can’t get the valve back on, but it looks like it has enough air, hopefully it will hold it
anxious for the lithium battery to com now so I can try the motor out
I was looking at your metal case that the lithium battery goes in. on some other site it looked like the same case, but it had a theft vibration alarm when you turned the key and pulled it out, to keep it from being stolen. that looked like a good idea. I thought the theft alarm would be a good idea . The battery is so valuable. It might be a good idea for you to put one in the lithium battery case with a vibration sensor and maybe a 120db buzzer or something. the batteries are so expensive
I can see it being a good feature to add to all of the hub motor controller.
I think some sort of vibration alarm on the bike to detect tampering with such an expensive lithium battery would be a good product service for your customers
Be hard for them to run with the lithium battery when it is screaming at 120db they would be noticed kind of like a bump alarm on a car, when someone tries to break into it
I think going to find one for my recumbent bike conversion kit trick, the hub motor trick is worth over $2000 and now with the motor and battery another $1000
I am cautious about parking it even though its locked and chained down, someone might try and take the battery or hub motor controller off
I have a bracket under the seat with enough space to mount the plate and battery I think
that’s where they had one on another hub motor bike conversion kit at the dealer I bought the bike conversion kit from it was a low power motor and only 10ah lithium battery.
It would not pull the bike until you got moving about 5mph.Does the slipping plate come with the lithium battery case?
The hub motor they had on the electric bike at the shop was only 250w, 36v, it didn’t have enough torque to push the e-bike till you got it moving along with the pedals.

Leaf hub motor bike kit is working

Q: The bike conversion kit system is now working.
Still have some questions. It is about the brakes.
If we take the red and black wires from the scooter brakes and connect in parallel to the connection of the new hub motor controller, will this have a negative effect on the controllers? My friend thinks that this should not be a problem since this only brakes a circuit.

A: About that brake has two types.ONE is high voltage to brake.The other is low voltage to brake.
Ours is low voltage to brake,you should check your old hub motor controller whether that is low voltage to brake.
If you have volt-meter,you could get about 5V from red and black wires from your old hub motor controller.If it's 5V.That's no problem to parcellel.

Q: We finally got the chance to try the new bike conversion kit wheel after doing all the modifications except for the front brake which we still have to modify.

We have a new problem and I need your expertise. I tested the bike conversion kit wheel up the hill and on its own (without using the rear wheel motor). It went up the hill at about 17 km/hr……..which I think it is satisfactory.

However when I took it up a steeper but very short incline which is on my way home, the fuse connected to the batteries got blown (caput) and lost power (no electricity).

The fuse is gauged at 10A. What should I do to avoid blowing out the fuse? If I change the fuse to a different amperage, will this have negative consequences for the rear motor? Do you suggest anything different?

As always, appreciate your assistance.

A: When up the hill,the current will reach about 15A.If too steep hill,it will reach more than 20A.
20A-30A current is easy to break controller.
Sometimes 15A continuous current for about half an hour also can break controller that's because of too hot will break hub motor controller's MOSFET.

We suggest:
* Cool controller is important.
* When you up hill,use two hub motors.On the flat road,use one motor.

Our hub motor bike conversion kit can't get any problem when your up any hill.But should cool controller.

Use 15A-20A fuse.Had better to use 15A.But if use 20A fuse,climb hill has more power.But we worry controller.
