BMX 20 inch 48V / 52V 1500W rear hub motor – electric bike conversion kit | Leafmotor

Q: Can you give quote of just 20 inch 1500W BMX hub motor and wheel only? For BMX 20 inch rear with wheel to fit 2.4” tire.  Also, does this BMX motor have wires coming out before threads on axle? https://www.leafbike.com/products/diy-bike-conversion-kit/bmx-20-inch-48v-52v-1500w-rear-hub-motor-electric-bike-conversion-kit-1180.html   A: Please click below site. The price and the shipping cost is the same to below link. https://www.leafbike.com/products/e-bike-hub-motor/20-inch-48v-52v-1500w-rear-bike-motor-wheel-1016.html  If order, just leave message: BMX motor fit for 110mm dropout. Q: Is there a physical difference between the 750w, 1000w, and 1500w BMX hub motors themselves? Different number of turns, gauge wire, etc? A: 36v 750w & 48v 1000w are the same motor.  1500w is different from 1000w motor. Difference as below: 1. the width of 1000w is 35mm hub, 1500w is 40mm hub 2. magnet height of 1000w is 30mm, 1500w is 35mm magnet 3. the width of 1000w winding rotor is 30mm, 1500w is 35mm winding rotor The gauge wire is the same, but 1500w should use much more wires than 1000w. About number for turns, we can customize different turns for 1000w, 1500w. Q: Thank you for all the help in choosing what to order. Do the wires come out of the axle inside our outside of the dropouts? I have attached a picture of the wire coming from inside the dropouts. A: 1500W 135mm dropout motor can use 3mm phase wire - cable inside fork 1500W  110mm dropout BMX motor uses 2mm phase wire - cable out of shaft end, outside fork. Q: This video is where I am seeing the 110mm BMX setup from leaf bike. In his description, he states it’s a front hub motor “made to fit a sprocket”  and in his video he shows the wires coming from inside the “fork” Is this something you also do for my order? Or maybe the person is misunderstanding.

Ebike Breaking questions | Leafmotor

Q: I have three questions so far.  One is about the Regen breaking, another is about the break levers, and the last one is about coasting. For the Regen breaking does the controller prevent Regen breaking when the battery is fully charged so as to not burn out the controller or will I need to buy something else to prevent that from happening? I see that the break levers have cables running from them however it says that I should buy break cut off sensors.  If those cables are not for break cut off sensors what are they for?  Also I already have hydraulic breaks so do you have hydraulic break levers that have the wiring that I need or do I just need to buy the break cut off sensors and add them to my bike? I know that direct drive motors have drag however I would like to know at what speed, if any, it will "short" and forcibly slow me back down "some controllers do this". And and what speed it will slow me down if any if I use it with the battery detached. A: Regen breaking works while press braking leaver (from slower to stop, only a couple of seconds - impossible to be fully charged Our brake lever with cut off sensors. Your hydraulic breaks without cut off sensor. If you don't like our brake lever, hope use your hydraulic breakes, buy cut off sensors.. please click below site. https://www.leafbike.com/products/electric-bike-parts/hydraulic-mechanical-brake-cut-off-sensor-switch-cable-1213.html The direct drive motor has resistance, but it is not obvious. The power-off switch and mechanical brake must be used to stop the motor. If the speed of 50kmh is on the flat ground, disconnect the power supply, do not use the mechanical brake, and generally slide more than 150m (if two rider on bike, may just slide 20m)
