need bike motor controller replacement | Leafmotor

I would like  to know if you sell  the bike motor controller only, because i damage mine by over voltage  and i need to replace it. Motor and LCD are still good. So please, i just need motor controller at the moment.   The photo I'm sending from a copy of a invoice is just to give you full details of address info, the invoice is from other kit , not this.   Can you make better price selling without LCD display ?   I will buy more parts in future from you for sure. I have new projects in my mind.   I already sent i e-mail today asking for the same model but with 60v (if this option is possible), if not possible no problem ,i will need  to have another 48v  controller, and  change to a 48v battery again..   Im sorry, I said in last e-mail i had 8 x 12v lead battery, but my mistake,because  in fact they are 10 bat, 12 amps +or- ,and 12 volts each. ( 2 box with 5 batt. each )   A lot of weight to carry, but i made already about 350 miles so far without any major problem...not bad homemade electric scooter…spend some money but i love this installation process, its a fine hobby for me. I ride it most of the time inside private property to avoid problems. I don't go fast, but uphill the controller burn…stupid mistake of mine..i push the controller limits.. many amps and some extra volts burn controller, almost in the end of the project..   I'm your costumer for some time and i prefer your controllers because they  are good and have regen break, very useful for me because i live in high place in Portugal, full of up and downhills.  I also prefer the original parts from you because i know they will fit perfect on the Lcd display that i already have   If yes , how can i pay you  excepting credit card ? I can make bank transfer if you like, or another safe method for both.  If i buy only controller i will pay less tax here also, less money in invoice is better for me because last time i payd a lot, also because motors are heavy , but only controller will be good, its lightweight for the post tax. If possible,  don't mention watt power in invoice please, The hub motor has 1000/1500 watt power.. i cant remember exactly, because sometimes display already  showed 1200, 1300 watt instant motor power  . maybe 1500w motor…not sure..

Look for an Electric motorcycle motor kit | Leafmotor

I just bought a gas moped (49cc) and plan to convert it to electric with your electric motorcycle kit. It looks like I'll need at least 1500W rear hub motor, although I'm willing to go higher if needed (2000W?). Someone on a forum indicated that you do custom windings and I should reach out to you, but I'm not an engineer and can only describe how I'll use the moped - I can't offer what specs are best, or if this is within what you can offer. I would prefer a solid wheel (no spokes) but on your site those only go to 1000W? The original moped rear wheel is 17" with a M62 3-17 tire. I haven't removed the tire to get the exact fork distance, but I think it is around 175mm I don't need a high top speed, 20 mph maximum and mostly I will be in the 0-10 mph range. However, it will be constantly going up and down hills, including several hundred feet of about 15 degree incline. So, I need good low-speed torque. I weigh about 200 lbs, and the moped (and the tools I'll be carrying) adds another 100-150 lbs. This will never be used on public roadways, only on my farm. I live in the USA. I haven't started looking at controllers or batteries yet.  My first step is to identify the best hub motor option, then I can worry about the rest.  I'd prefer a 17 inch casted electric motorcycle hub motor if I can get one with enough power / torque at low speed.

Question on wiring- 1500w rear hub motor kit | Leafmotor

I have installed my hub motor kit on my bike and think IT IS GREAT!!!! I have a question about a wire from the “cruise control-regenerative brake” controller on the handle bar. The connection to the control unit had 4 wires one of which......the blue wire...was cut. I assumed that it needed to be fixed the two blue wires together. I bought two hub motor kits and we have just finished installing the kit on my friends bike and this blue wire is also not connected.....so I am wondering if it is supposed to be disconnected......should I solder this blue wire of cut the blue wire on my bike ..... Again....I think your hub motor kits are great! I have referred my friends to your site and I hope you receive some orders from them. How to use three button switch? 1.We cut off that blue or yellow wire.It's for reverse/backward.This function is very dangerous for e-bike. If for e-tricycle,hope this reverse function,just re-connect this yellow wire. (We cut off yellow wire.. so no reverse/backwards function for e-bike. If install motor on tricycle, also need this reverse function,please re-connect this yellow wire. Reverse works)   This yellow or black button be left / middle,motor works forward. Be right side,motor works backwards / reverse... (Cut off blue wire,No reverse function) How to set max speed? If you feel motor is too fast,please set it to be low speed. * Press “sw/middle button” from LCD more than 2 seconds,then LCD will display. * Press “up & down button” together more than 2 seconds until 72 is flashing ( 72 is kmh, if you hope works 20mph / 32kmh, press “down” to be 32) * Press “sw/middle” button one time to save,then 20 is flashing.. (20 is wheel size. This regen is not strong.Only while braking with a little regen.   1.Be careful: Heavy Red Wire from controller should be connected to → Red Wire + (48V or 52V battery positive) Heavy Black Wire should be connected to → Black wire - (48V or 52V battery negative)   Power on battery. Press “sw” middle button more than 2 seconds until LCD be ON. Turn throttle,motor will work. If Not work,please check below: 1. if LCD display “-O-“, the system is braking,cut off motor power.. please make brake levers’ metal ring be back or disconnect brake lever’s plug, then “-O-“ off, turn throttle,motor works. 2. if no “-O-“, still not work,please check three pair of heavy phase yellow,blue,green wires if connected well.

How to make hub motor reverse | Leafmotor

Q:Received my DIY e-bike kit,18" front wheel 48V 1000W hub motor with brushless motor controller,done installed on tricycle,test system,load 300pl on motor that still had enough power. But one issue:I want to make tricycle reverse,help... A:Please find a 2-pin connector(purple and black wires) from controller and jump these two wires,also can use a ON/OFF switch to control it. BTW,connect wires according as below connecting.Make a sample: 1.Forward. 1500w hub motor rpm | Leafmotor

I have done a little more testing with the 1500w hub motor. I think that I am happy with the current winding. I am giving the motor 65A battery, 180 amps phase.. and it is like a rocket now. The efficiency is very good.. the most efficient hub motor I have tested.. good work! But I want to be sure about the winding for my post about your 48V 1500W bike motor, because your webpage shows lots of different RPM for the same motor ( this is confusing ).. If someone orders the hub motor from your website.. they will receive a 16*4 turn motor, which is 650rpm @ 49v = 13.26 kV And the 13*5 turn motor would do 550rpm @ 49v = 11.2 kV Is this correct...? P.S. If you are interested in having a hub motor re-seller.. I told someone in the USA about your hub motors and told him about my tests. I got the hub motor and have tested it. It's a great hub motor, but the winding is too fast for a 26 inch,650B,700C,28 inch,29 inch hub motor wheel.It's better for 14 inch,16 inch,18 inch,20 inch,24 inch bike motor wheel. The no load speed on the hub motor I received = 640rpm on 49v. I notice on your web page that you sell stator windings.. I was wondering how many turns this hub motor has. Is it possible that you could sell me a stator winding with one more turn that could do 500-550rpm on 49v? 16 * 4T 650RPM 13 * 5T 550RPM 11 * 6T 450RPM 9 * 7T 350RPM 8 * 8T 250RPM 7 * 9T 150RPM …………
