20 inch 1000w rear casted hub motor electric bike kit | Leafmotor

Q: Hey there how are you? I m texting u from Australia and wanna ask few questions before placing an order for 20 inch hub motor electric bike kit. 1:How long delivery will take to arrive in Australia ? 2:Which company u will use for that? 3:Do u have this but 1500w 2kw or 3kw hub motor ? 4:how long warranty is? 5:do u sell special metal parts to use in a form to prevent of braking it as its hub motor has so much power? or special fork? https://www.leafbike.com/products/diy-bike-conversion-kit/20-inch-48v-52v-1000w-rear-casted-hub-motor-electric-bike-kit-1218.html A: 1. About 10 days to arrive in Australia 2. Our self company make hub motors. 3. This 20 inch casted max 1000w, no 1500w, 2kw...  because only one kind of casted hub part for 1000w hub motor.  4. ONE year 5.it's easy to brake..  (1. press brake lever, it will cut off motor power at once.. 2. also your disk brake or V -brake works that's easy to stop motor Q: I mean I don't wanna brake metal parts which holds motor hub and wheel can u have a look on picture. Do u sell any piece of metal to make supports for frame in part where frame connects which wheel?  I m so sorry for my English I hope u understand what I m asking about A: The dia. of this motor's shaft is 14mm (flat is 10mm) Don't need other metal part. It's fit for all standard bike. Q: Yeah can u have a look at new pics I wound some in internet, and that what I am asking u to how to prevent it . I just don't wanna brake fork front or rear one. If front brakes its K i can Change for other one  But if rear, I will need to buy new bike A: The frame quality of bicycle on picture is not good. Many customers use this Aluminum bracket for 1000w, 1500w hub motor that is no problem. If you have steel fork that's much better. Q: Just one lats question before I place an order. Does that motor hub require special battery? Or can I use batteries i have 2 48v Samsung ebike batteries ? A: Don't need special battery. 20 inch 48v / 52v 1500w hub motor electric bike kit works with 48v or 52v battery (min 40v to max 60v) ONE 48v Battery can drive it.

16 inch 24V 250W front hub motor – electric bike kit | Leafmotor

Q: I have an old 16 inch bike that I would like to add electric assist on the front wheel (The rear has a complex hub/cassette that I don't want to mess with). The hub specs seem like they would work with this kind of bike but I have some questions. Will the added weight of a front hub motor put strain on the headset? Will the hub work with the compact v-brakes that came with the bike or will I need to upgrade? Will it work with my 60 psi tires? Would I be able to power my hub dynamo lights with the battery? I am not looking for anything powerful--just something to help me up hills. Note the attached picture is before I upgraded to long swept back handlebars which should give me enough room for any controllers and throttles. A: This 16 inch hub motor kit 24v 250w front is fit for the spacing of 100mm fork.  * if possible, just measure the spacing of your fork, check if 100mm? -If 100mm, no any problem. Fit for your bike, also fit for your V brake, also your fork support this motor. This bike motor is not heavy. Works with your fork. This 16 inch rim is fit for 16 x 1.5" or 16 x 1.75 or 16 x 1.95" tire. But we recommend 36v 250w or 48v 250w or 48v 500w (24v 250w is not strong) Q:  I am just researching right now. If 250W is too weak, will the next wattage size help me up the hill? Would you recommend high or low pressure tires (I prefer low pressure)? Does the price include the battery? A: 48V 250W or 48V 500W is okay. If strongest, 48v 1500w low speed motor. Not include battery. Q: Would the 36v 250w bike motor be strong enough to boost me up hills and what battery pack would work with it? Can motor batteries be tapped to power lights originally powered from a hub dynamo? A: 36v 250w bike motor is stronger than 24v 250w But still no good for up hills, just work for flat road. Also, 48v 250w bike motor is just better to work for flat road, not good for up hill. If up hill, should 16 inch 48V 1000W, 1500W bike motor. Q: I would still be peddling the bike with motor assist rather than relying on the motor alone. I currently don't want too powerful a motor as my current rim brakes may not be strong enough. Also this would be the first time I rode any kind of electrified bike so I need an "entry level" set up. One other thing, how well does the motor hold up against heat, cold and getting wet as in encountering the occasional puddle? It can get really hot, cold and wet where I live.

26 inch 2000W HUB SNOW BIKE KIT – FOR 190MM DROPOUT | Leafmotor

Q: Could you tell me the spec of the most powerful hub motor you sell in the 26 inch fat bike kit that will fit a 190mm rear dropout please? I am looking to buy the hub motor pre-laced in a rim, can you also advise on what battery to go with it. A: 190mm dropout.. We can make 26 inch 48V 1000w or 26 inch 48V 1500w hub motor We recommend 48v or 52v 20ah battery. Q: Thanks for the reply. Can you quote me for a 1500w direct drive hub wound for torque on a 26" 80mm rim with cassette and place for rim brake with 190mm dropout please? Here is the bike I want to install it on A:We have 26 inch 80mm rim but don't have cassette version shaft for 190mm hub motor. ONLY shaft for freewheel sprocket. Q:Freewheel will be fine. How much to order please? A:Click below site.  Check out... check out.. choose your country, will get shipping cost & total price. Leave message: 190mm 26 inch 80mm (190mm is very important, or send an email to us after paid, need 190mm shaft,  default: 170mm ) https://www.leafbike.com/products/beach-snow-fat-bike-kit/26-inch-48v-52v-1500w-rear-hub-motor-beach-snow-fat-tire-bike-conversion-kit-1081.html Q:One more question do you have different windings available? Bike will be climbing lots of hills. A:Yes, we have different windings available.. Just tell us max speed, we can make windings as your max speed. We can make fastest: 22 x 3T just for e-motorcycle Also, can make 16 x 4T - fast 13 x 5T 11 x 6T - popular 9 x 7T 8 x 8T - stronger and not too slow 7 x 9T 6 x 11T -- slow 5 x 13T 4 x 16T  ... Q:Which winding works well for long hill climbing without overheating? A: 11 x 6T is not too slow, also strong. Don't worry motor overheating. ONLY make sure controller is not overheating.. motor will not overheating.. ** Don’t pack controller inside bag.Had better to hold it on the frame directly. It’s easy to cool controller in Summer. ** There pairs of heavy yellow, blue, green phase wires must connected well. Had better to use electrical tape winding. Q: I saw you have a 2000w hub motor model fat bike wheel how fast will that go? I think that may be my last question Sorry also does hub motor have a temp sensor or can you add one please? Hi saw this new model and had questions: https://www.leafbike.com/products/beach-snow-fat-bike-kit/26-inch-60v-2000w-rear-hub-motor-beach-snow-fat-tire-bike-conversion-kit-1231.html   Your 26 inch 2000w snow bike kits says it can come in 190mm rear dropout, is that correct? How many amps is the controller? Can you supply as a thumb throttle instead of twist throttle? Does motor come mounted inside the wheel? What windings can you offer on this 2000w version?

18 inch 48V 52V 1000W rear hub motor – electric bike kit | Leafmotor

I’m interested in your 18 inch hub motor electric bike conversion kit I was curious is this a right hand drive or left hand drive ? Does this come with a sprocket, and if so how Many teeth does it have ? Is this strictly pedal assist or will the motor engage while pedals are at a stand still? Do you have a 1000watt hub motor for the drum brake wheel?  Do you make 16inch electric front wheels for surrey bikes ?  The axles seems slightly different then your standard bicycle front wheel  Do you have a diagram as to how the drum brake connects to the wheel ?  I see that’s a separate drum break to purchase. How does the 1000watt wheel attach the drum break? Is there a mounting system on the wheel ? The actual drum break 1000watt wheel comes with everything needed correct ?  I would rather purchase from you if possible since our communication has been the best. Can you work with me on the price of the wheel ?  Are the drum break to the wheel universal?  May I ask why the drum brake isn’t included with the wheel? What is the return policy in case I have issues with it fitting my bike or performing ?  I am now in the process of ordering the electric wheel kit for our surrey bike. Before ordering I was curious do you have the updated lcd screen for this model ?  It would be the same wheel, the rear 18inch wheel conversion with drum break.  Is there any documents showing the way the lcd screens look? Is one better then the other ?  I can choose a colored lcd screen for the controller as well correct?  Before I make a purchase I was going to ask do you offer a thumb driven accelerator switch instead of the throttle handle like a dirt bike.  Can you send me a picture of what it looks like please.  I was asking if I could see a picture of the thumb throttle as well One more question about your thumb throttle. Do you have a thumb throttle that does not have the handle attached ? I’m trying to secure the thumb throttle to a sealed bar so I need it to open and latch over the bar to secure it instead of slipping over the end of a bar like a bike handle grip. If this makes sense?  Sounds good. If I were to want this one how would I express in my order I would Prefer this thumb throttle ?

electric bike battery can’t charge | Leafmotor

Electric bike battery can't charge, how to handle it?

Question 1:Ordered 1 set of 36V/12Ah electric bike battery with charger from one supplier last March. Now the li battery can't charge.I sent several emails to this supplier,no any respond.Angry and aspire to slove it,can you help me... Last Monday,I charged it all the whole night, but the second day, when I rode for less than 1 mile, the motor stopped.Recharged it,found the green led always on,can't turn red. I DON'T KNOW how to deal with it.Need help...Thanks. Answer 1:First you need volt-meter to measure the voltage of charger and electric bike battery. Then can find problem. Answer 2:Full charged this 36V electric bike battery reaches 42V. 1.Use voltmeter to measure the charger can get 42V.If not, charger is broken; 2.Measure battery, output voltage:33~42V,battery is also okay.If less than 33V,can't charge it. Answer 3:Generally the charger can't get trouble. The problem is always from cells. If the electric bike battery voltage is over-low.Battery's BMS will not allow charger to work. Can't charge for ever. You should remove the BMS inside ev battery and let it to charge cells directly. When voltage of the whole cells is more than standard voltage and re-connect BMS to cells. Answer 4:Ride e-bike about one year, never meet this problem. Question 2:The charger output 42V,but battery is 31.5V. Disconnected cover, found a printed circuit board. But don't know how to handle it. Answer 5:B- → battery - (connect the cathode of the last pack of cells) D- → - (connect to lock) C- → - (connect to cathode of charging point) B1 B2....B10 connects each pack of cells. Answer 6:Your charger can't work normal. You should disconnect 10-pin connector. Charge it from B- and the positive of electric bike battery, bypass BMS,directly charge cells. Note:Generally BMS can protect cells over-discharge and over-charger.But if your motor doesn't work, just led lights work(current is less than 1A),at this time,BMS can't protect cells. It will over-discharged your battery and make the voltage is less than normal so that can't charger it. We suggest if don't ride your e-bike for more than 1 week, please remove electric bike battery power connector.

need bike motor controller replacement | Leafmotor

I would like  to know if you sell  the bike motor controller only, because i damage mine by over voltage  and i need to replace it. Motor and LCD are still good. So please, i just need motor controller at the moment.   The photo I'm sending from a copy of a invoice is just to give you full details of address info, the invoice is from other kit , not this.   Can you make better price selling without LCD display ?   I will buy more parts in future from you for sure. I have new projects in my mind.   I already sent i e-mail today asking for the same model but with 60v (if this option is possible), if not possible no problem ,i will need  to have another 48v  controller, and  change to a 48v battery again..   Im sorry, I said in last e-mail i had 8 x 12v lead battery, but my mistake, because  in fact they are 10 bat, 12 amps +or- ,and 12 volts each. ( 2 box with 5 batt. each )   A lot of weight to carry, but i made already about 350 miles so far without any major problem...not bad homemade electric scooter…spend some money but i love this installation process, its a fine hobby for me. I ride it most of the time inside private property to avoid problems. I don't go fast, but uphill the controller burn…stupid mistake of mine..i push the controller limits.. many amps and some extra volts burn controller, almost in the end of the project..   I'm your costumer for some time and i prefer your controllers because they  are good and have regen break, very useful for me because i live in high place in Portugal, full of up and downhills.  I also prefer the original parts from you because i know they will fit perfect on the Lcd display that i already have   If yes , how can i pay you  excepting credit card ? I can make bank transfer if you like, or another safe method for both.  If i buy only controller i will pay less tax here also, less money in invoice is better for me because last time i payd a lot, also because motors are heavy , but only controller will be good, its lightweight for the post tax. If possible,  don't mention watt power in invoice please, The hub motor has 1000/1500 watt power.. i cant remember exactly, because sometimes display already  showed 1200, 1300 watt instant motor power  . maybe 1500w motor…not sure..
